Terms of Service

The Ropes is operated by 7thlayerlabs. These terms are between you and 7thlayerlabs and govern your use of The Ropes websites, web portal, and mobile app (“the service”). By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you must have authority to act for it.

Your account and organization

Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and use only accounts and workplaces you are authorized to access. Notify us of suspected unauthorized use. Your organization manages your workplace membership, permissions, and operational records and may change or remove your access.

Permitted use

You may use the service for lawful training, communication, and workplace operations. Do not access another person’s data without permission, bypass security or access controls, upload unlawful or infringing material, harass others, distribute malicious software, or disrupt the service.

Your content

You and your organization retain your rights in the content you submit. You give The Ropes permission to host, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to provide, secure, and support the service. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions necessary to submit it.

Operational decisions and AI assistance

The Ropes helps organize work; your organization remains responsible for staffing, employment decisions, food safety, allergen information, training standards, and compliance with applicable requirements. AI-generated answers and drafts may be inaccurate or incomplete. Have a qualified person review them before relying on them, especially for safety or employment decisions.

Plans and third-party services

Any paid plan, trial, or subscription is subject to the pricing and payment terms presented when you subscribe, or a separate agreement with your organization. We will not create a payment obligation solely through these terms. Third-party sign-in and other integrations may be subject to their providers’ terms and availability.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Your organization may also have policies governing workplace information and use of the service.

Availability and ending access

We may modify features or interrupt service for maintenance, security, or other operational reasons. We may suspend or end access for misuse, violations of these terms, or legal requirements. You may stop using the service at any time and contact us about closing your account. Record retention is described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. To the extent permitted by law, The Ropes is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, or overrides a separately signed agreement.

Changes and contact
